Customer Review Jack Shu 5.0 out of 5 stars Poetry of beauty and love Reviewed in the United States on March 15, 2024 Verified Purchase Reading Bing Hua’s poems is a real pleasure. It makes me feel like walking into vivid scenes and experiencing live effects within each scene. In all simple words, the author magically put all things alive: a breeze of wind, a stream of water, a stem of rose, and I am in it experiencing the joy, the pain, the struggle of love and the longing and dreaming for love. Bing Hua has truly mastered the arts of story telling in poetry. https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R1VUYT8TFOKVW1/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=1646627822

Top reviews from the United States KH 5.0 out of 5 stars Buy and smell the aroma of this February’s Rose! Reviewed in the United States on February 22, 2024 Verified Purchase Bing Hua is one of my favorite Chinese poets. Her poetry is simple yet rich—simple to invite readers to read, yet rich in feelings and images. A good example is the poem "A Hand Fan:" “One side is spring, the other autumn.” Another good one is "Your Leaves and My Water:" “Your leaves / Have fallen into my yard / My water / Has wetted your lawn.” These words draw readers in and explore new realm of experiences. Bing Hua also has a magic way to express love through different seasons. She puts just enough ingredients to make her lines “taste” and “smell” good. Mr. Xu did a very good job to catch the 100 poems’ essences and styles in his translation. I highly recommend this book especially in this season.
